Autism Inclusion in the Workforce

Autistic Individuals in the Workforce” is Turkey’s first sustainable supported employment model for individuals with autism, implemented by Eker Dairy Products in collaboration with the Tohum Autism Foundation.

Through this model, we demonstrate that when the necessary supports and reasonable accommodations are provided, individuals with autism can be productively and sustainably integrated into the workforce.

At the core of the model are job coaches, who provide one-to-one support for every three individuals with autism, closely monitoring their workplace adaptation, professional development, and communication processes. At the same time, they act as a bridge between autistic employees and the workplace, contributing to the development of an inclusive work culture.
